I just noted that Aldi were selling a set of needle files for £5.99 but checking a couple of other sources, Screwfix had a set for £6.99 all fitted with handles and Toolstation a Draper set for £3.65. I cannot recall the price of the Aldi ones when they were previously offered but if they were cheaper, then is this the first signs of pricing being less competitive due to the costs of the rapid expansion of stores?

Re: Aldi tools not always a bargain now
The Aldi ones do have the storage box and that compact set may be more useful to some to keep in their tool box that loose files so its probably a case of swings and roundabouts.

Toolstation want 5 quid for delivery & no way will I travel to my nearest Screwfix when I have an Aldi on my doorstep, having said that I don't buy from the first place anyway
