Cannot access forum on iPad

Has my cheque bounced Brian, it’s happened again? This time everything froze moving from one page to another once again the remedy was to power down and on again to get things working. I am using the latest iPad Air with the most up-to-date iOS and this never happens on any other website. I concede it could be something with the iPad but I have checked everything that could cause this and not found anything unusual

Are you using a VPN Richard? Only ask because when I had my VPN permanently on I always had trouble with this site.

Ahh! That may be it, thanks Terry. I will see if it happens again 99% of the time absolutely no problem then once in a blue moon it throws a wobbly, these very random issues are always a PITA to nail down.

It sounds like an issue with DNS (Domain Name System), if it's sporadic.... I know that sometimes iOS doesn't use the DNS providers it's told to by your wireless and uses ones provided by Apple... which have been known to be poor at updating.

I’ve only ever accessed the forum on my iPad so have I been lucky to have no problems?
