Re: Painting and Weathering Service
Looks stunning. Think I’d need a pristine and weathered version.
Nurse, the screens!

It can be arranged.Walkingthedog wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 2:36 pm Looks stunning. Think I’d need a pristine and weathered version.
I’m not usually a diesel fan but this one runs so well I picked one up for myself to run as an occasional visitor to Low Ghyll.

Wow - how good does that look ! ...... great job Steve as always.
Looking forward to seeing it slightly weathered and coupled to the associated DBSO....... push-pull services will soon be the order of the day on Montgreenan.
Thanks - Richard
Ps - For those not familiar - attached is the prototype image I asked Steve to try to recreate - I think we can all agree that he nailed it perfectly.

That’s a wrap. Class 47 and DBSO finished.
Thanks to Railtec Transfers (again).

Steve,
That looks amazing and I am looking forward to getting it on the layout with a full rake of coaches....... thanks for your usual attention to detail and pursuit of perfection - I think this will be a stand-out on the layout for sometime to come.
Cheers Richard
Ps - I am amazed by what appears to be a slight haze in the first photo just above the exhaust port - it looks so real.

That’s the shadow of the signals on the backscene - happy accident.
It’s on its way.

Starting some prep work for a new project but have hit the first bump in the road.......
Halfords appear to have stopped selling Rover Damask Red which is generally accepted as a good match for LMS/BR crimson.
Now looking for plan B.
