Out of interest Barry, what is the yard lamps post made from (if you're able to tell)?

Hi Brian - I'm sure I read somewhere that it was brass.

Those people really look like they are on the move, so realistic BB that street has come alive.

Like the cabs up on the curb. Well observed and a nice touch. R-

You have really got that spot on Barry and as Roger says the cab on the kerb is perfect.

Many thanks for the very kind comments. The figures are all from the Bachmann Scalescene range - I bought a few packs from a model railway show last year. I try to find the right figure for a particular situation - for example the guy about to get into the taxi, just happened to be posed leaning very slightly forwards with his hand out, which just coincided with the taxi door handle - the couple just about to cross the road, their feet were in the perfect position making it look as though they were just about to step off of the pavement. So I spend a little time trying to get the right person/people for the right location - it can make all the difference. Barry/BB

PS. The next "challenge" would be to get the "taxi" sign on the cab roof illuminated...".
