Yes i used Humax before buying smart tvs with it built in. Humax have now stopped manufacturing Freesat boxes.

I agree. Humax every time although I had Freeview version. There are some Humax Freesat boxes on eBay. R-

thank you guys. Happy to take recommendations. Will look on line. Just need to make sure we can receive it fully here. France is a bit iffy, in some areas.

do we know why they stopped production, and which model should i look at.

We dont have HD, and dont need/want record facility, i think. We have an acceptable sat dish.

If you dont need to record a HB 1100s will do.
