I hope they have improved the quality from the early models. I have converted all mine by ripping out the guts and using a servo motor to drive them.

Mine works ok-ish? It is wired to a Cobalt iP point motor, and it was working with every point movement, but now seems to be every other movement . I have two more to fit, but hope they will bring out a SR bracket signal (different construction).
