Managed to progress a little further with my diorama yesterday. The ballasting was completed and I’m happy with the way it’s turning out.
The ballast will be toned down to replicate a typical working siding.

Hi progress is going nicely with my diorama build. Ballasting has been toned down with a mix of weathering powders, which has had the affect I wanted to achieve.
Gorse bushes have been added around the back and side of the lamp hut. An old oil drum has been added and weathered.
Hopefully I can add the static grass and the odd gorse bush as this is where a trainspotter will be situated.
