My Avatar is a little project I did a few years ago - 34ft steel hull Van der Stadt, It took me 15 months to cut our the full length steel sheets and weld it all together and fit it out inside.

Very, very nice. Project and a half, but well worth it I bet.

That must have been a nice project to take on knowing the hours of enjoyment you where going to have on the water when it was completed.

I got great satisfaction building it, but even more sailing it on the East coast of Ireland the Isle of Man and the West coast of Scotland, I was based in a small village called Carlingford on the south side of Carlingford Loch in the RoI,
When i moved over to Scotland's East coast I sold it to a friend and Excaliber is still in Carlingford. I must have built her well in 1990 as she is still in perfect condition.
