Good old Norm Abram and his New Yankee Workshop - he had more tools than Machine Mart. He cold make anything in his workshop.

I made many of his things in mine. Thats how i got my Workshop. Each time we watched, my wife said, If you had one of those, you could do............ So we bought one of those. Now have fully equipped machine tool workshop. Thanks, Norm.

I remember that show! He was never one to bother with that old fashioned saw and chisel nonsense. If something needed cutting, gouging, drilling, sanding, carving, jointing et al then he had a machine for it!

He was far more basic when he started. He then joined This Old House, team, where all work was on site, and the Handsaws and Chisels, came into their own. I have all his books, again where other tools were used. A very skilled guy.
