This is how I did my panel
Printed my track plan from Anyrail on photo paper, including all the point numbers to match the switches, since this pic i have made LED signal gantries all round my layout and the switches are all along the bottom of the panel.
The panel facia is 3mm thick plasticard - light and easy to drill, its available from a company in Kingston on Thames on ?bay. The list at the bottom of the pic is my loco numbers for my NCE controller, these have been relocated to make room for the signal switches.
I tried plastic and perspex both are difficult to drill and cut without cracking.
