Fully agree with all the previous comments - very realistic and every time I look I see something additional - only just noticed the window cleaner the other day ....... this is definitely one of the layouts that sets the standard for me

I've now fitted some lights into the buildings. I have still to do some serious tidying up - but at least they work. I have not stuck the backs onto the buildings, so have some "interior backscenes" and may be some people to add - may be also tone down the lighting. I still have the Metcalfe Department Store to work on.

I think you have got the lighting spot on, all the buildings and the street just look so right with the warm glow you have achieved it is perfect modelling.

It does not take me long to do five minutes work.

Barry in the library I think the two left hand widows look better than the four to their right.

Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
Thanks Bob - but I think as Brian says, the light need toning down a little. In the library I fitted two LED's on the ground floor, and only one on the other two floors. The windows above the door are separate from the rest of the building and the card construction blanked off some of the space, therefore concealing some of the "down light" from the LED's - hence it looks a little dimmer. I will try a dab of paint on the other bulbs and see what happens. I have some printed bookshelves which I will place inside before the back is stuck back on. Barry

Maybe a bacjscene is all it needs Barry. The whole scene looks terrific.

I have added backscenes in the library and a couple of people "browsing". I fitted diffusers to the lights - just a small piece of white photo-copier paper covering the LED seems to make all the difference. I have not finished yet - will post new picture when all complete.
PS. The bus is now in pieces

One is reminded the impressionists painted light. This is a variation. Evocative. .
