This might not be in the correct place (admin please move if necessary) but.......
.... has any one experienced issues with the Peco turntable motor, quite simply it won't work? It's a new unit, it is powered up, as indicated by the green light, it just won't move in either direction. I have removed it from the turntable just to make sure it's not resistance from the deck, but still nothing, I can't even hear or feel the slightest hum or vibration from the motor.
Just thought I'd ask before I make a phone call and return the unit.

Re: Peco turntable motor
Can you apply 12 volts directly to the motor not via the control pad to see if it works?
Nurse, the screens!
Re: Peco turntable motor
I think I would just return it to where you got it from. My reason is, say you burn it out, they may blame you for it. I would test it with a meter first.

Thanks for the replies; to apply power direct to the motor required the removal of the back, so it's been returned to the supplier who has agreed to replace it.
