Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
I added some wagons to the layout. I swear Wykeham is becoming a large diorama - trains don't run - I just keep adding bits

Nothing wrong with that Barry, my locos run once in a blue moon. Great pictures, particularly the first one.

Yep, love the first shot too, feel you're in the shed with it.
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician
Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
Oh come on Barry.... Its obvious you've been out with your camera taking pics in real goods sheds!
The first picture could easily be real. First class modelling and photography!

Hello Barry,
Great pics I see one of the vans has some white writing on it. I'd love to know what you used to do it.
Cheers - J

Many thanks for all of the positive (nice) comments - it's amazing the quality of the photographs you can get with an iPhone.
Jim - my skills and confidence have yet to achieve a level where I start attacking rolling stock . The fish van is 38-578 Bachmann 10 Ton Fish Van BR Bauxite (Late) (Weathered) - that is how it came out of the box - it says "Billingsgate" (naturally!) on the side of the wagon, and there is some indecipherable writing on the other side. I have not looked, but you might be able to get a pen (?) in Hobbycraft that has a very fine tip and writes in white - they seem do do most colours nowadays. Obviously on real wagons this would have been chalked on. Barry

I’m pretty sure you can get chalk mark transfers.
Here they are.

Thanks BB and Thanks Wtd,
I remembered the name ... Rotring ... had one years ago, clogged up though. Just looked on eBay wow £30-£40 for a pen. I could make 3 or 4 wagons for that!
Cheers - Jim
