Building new N layout

As mentioned in my Location post, i picked up an unfinished DCC, N gauge layout, in France. Its about 8x3 foot. Built as shunting layout, with underground run round road, returning via 2 inclines. 15, points to be electrified, as working in DC, plus crossover. Will post a picture, if i ever work out how to. Had to remove all DCC point clips/ wiring, and reverse loop, and fit funny joiners to make work. All a big learning curve, as my existing locos, etc, run on my big layout, on simple loops, whilst Flying Scotsman runs round the outside of the room, with 2 other DC tracks, about 64 foot
