I've had one of these for a few years and it has been very useful, good for reading hallmarks on jewelry etc. Here's an example of closeup TTS decoder.....HB

I've taken the plunge and bought one, it came at lunchtime today. I've managed to get it working on the PC, but my Android phone seems a but reluctant to play nicely. I got a wi-fi usb one, so they should all be able to play together (individually of course!)

It's not the one you bought ;) That I hope is still in France! :D

Mine is described thus: "SKYBASIC Wireless Digital Microscope, Mini Pocket Handheld USB 50x to 1000x Magnification Camera 1080P FHD 2.0 MP 8 LED WiFi Endoscope Compatible with Android Smartphone, iPhone, Tablet, Windows Mac"

The setup for PC was quite easy, for my Android I just need to get an OTG adapter and I've not tried it yet on the iPad.
It's supposed to work on wi-fi but the software is the pits!

I bought this a couple of years ago direct from China. I did have a play with it when I first got it and was quite impressed but tbh apart from assisting in removal of a splinter it has sat on the shelf ever since.
