I’d be tempted to leave it be. Put a ladder against the wall with a couple of workmen.

I have alway liked little scenes like that. I had a small hole in the baseboard on my attic layout where a switch used to be. Rather that fill or cover it I had some blokes laying a cable in it.

I've placed the ladder inside - if I put it sideways the guy on the ladder cannot reach the lamp! :lol:
