They arrived on the scene 10 years ago. Things change as time goes by. We had an early George Forman grill. Had to clean it with great difficulty. Now the trays are removable and cleaning very easy. Don’t have one now.

It just goes to show that railway modelling isn't the only thing we think of, we think of FOOD too!

I think the sound chip in the Air Fryer that is available from Lidl from next Sunday the 10th would need to be a very, very basic one. Having an alarm sound at some point would be the only sound I expect from an Air Fryer.

Being digital of course means those that prefer DC are out of luck, DCC rules in this product. I don't think the Digital chip can be removed to make it analogue.

Unfortunately the common function key functions don't work either, being replaced with a customised set of symbols on a digital display attached to the product. Also, be very aware, in the UK this works at 240v so connection to your Powercab or other DCC system will a) cancel the warranty on both and b) result neither working!

Placing this in-line with your DCC system and touching the rails with your skin will result in Death or permanent injury to the person!

Could be they are more interesting than other topics at the moment. Certainly, caused some interest Not a bad thing, for a bit of light relief. Probably run its course, though. I will make my next post about trains.

Maybe, but it is digital, it says so in the name "Silvercrest Digital Air Fryer"
