usb stick
Does anyone own the railroad & co train controller I have but my key stick is broken it's my fault I left it plugged now it won't work can someone tell me what to do thank you and stay safe.
Re: usb stick
If it's the USB licence stick then you'll need to contact Freiwald and have it replaced. There will be a charge for this - about 15 euros I believe.

Re: usb stick
Can you still see the file(s) on the stick when its removed correctly and then plugged back in again? Using Windows explorer assuming it plugged into a Windows PC?
Re: usb stick
It's a licence stick where the licence key is somehow embedded in the firmware. You can even format the stick with Windows and Traincontroller will still recognize the licence.

Re: usb stick
That doesn't mean it's not there of course, as the software should be able to access it. Unless the stick is completely knackered.

Re: usb stick
As teedoubleudee says, if the PC doesn't see it doesn't mean it's not working. If it is a licence key only then they don't always show up as drives and the software accesses the licence through the stick. However, the fact you say the software isn't working and can't see it to me says the stick is faulty.
