D11 Spare Parts Question

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

Just started here on the forum and I had a question.

I've just bought a Bachmann D11/2 "The Lady Of The Lake" In BR Black, pre-owned but sadly the reversing arm that comes out of the cab is missing from the model.

I don't really want to go through sending it back for this one piece (unless suggested otherwise) so I am wondering if a spare part for this loco can be obtained potentially from Bachmann? I've heard good things about their spares department.

Sorry If I sound very rookie. I've never had to go through a spares department before and have no idea what to expect, and I would rather not send the engine back as it's absolutely spot on bar this issue.

Cheers, do you think they'll be able to help? It's more an external detail to the engine not a fundamental mechanical piece.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how I'd go about that. Especially with the rounded bit at the end! I could end up making things worse.

Just trying to gauge the likelihood of being able to obtain this from bachmann. Whether anyone has experience of getting similar parts.

Good news! Rang up and they sorted me out. Took a couple of calls and good job I did so, as they'd found the part and not got back in touch but managed to give them my address.

I believe they shipped yesterday, got no confirmation email though but didn't expect one, and it was all free of charge.

Hopefully, it arrives soon, good of them to be able to find the part.
