Is it possible to have 'like' function?

#1

Post by darkscot »

I notice that some forums have a 'like' function, like Twitter has. Is that something that could be added here? There are lots of posts that I would like to show appreciation of, but just posting 'I agree' or whatever seems a waste and just clogs up the thread.

Its not part of the phpBB software. There are external extensions that can be used, but I am very reluctant to install non phpBB approved software. So the answer is its unlikely to happen unless phpBB design and install something in any future software release.

It's a shame as pushing a like button shows your appreciation without clogging up the forum with replies.
