Re my post about my Hornby order of Hush Hush when I ordered 1 loco and the site insisted I had ordered 2 has now been rectified and is showing 1 order. Sigh of relief. :)
Nice to see Hornby are working to put things right. :D

on the old Hornby website was a Posting where folks could place a guess for the release of Loco Detection. Perhaps a new forcast calender would be good for the restart of the new Forum.

It is taking an extraordinary amount of time for what should have been a routine forum change over.

I can only assume they are concentrating on putting the errors right seen on the main web-site.

Many links didn’t work, the search system was dire and depending upon which page you started from and how you went from there depended if you found any or none of what you were looking for.

No doubt it will all be fine in the end, but . . . .

Hi There

I, like many others, have been waiting patiently for the new Hornby Forum to be put back on line.

I have emailed Hornby a couple of times about this but have now received a reply. I have copied it below.

Apologies if everyone is already aware of this. :)

FROM HORNBY:

Hi Joe,

Hopefully this has now been rectified as the web team have been working on this the weekend.
Apologies for the problems you have been experiencing and i appreciate how frustrating this has been as it is not within customer service control.

Kind Regards
Anita

If they were working over the weekend then I see little change from last weekend or even last month.
Putting out an updated general statement of when we are likely to see the forum rather than the vague forum landing page as is would at least assure folk the lights were on in that office.

It is kinda worrying, if perchance they have mislaid some of quality posts. There is one guy, however, who will be quite miffed, as he has more than most.

I only visit the site for Humbrol and Corgi now and that’s not the forums.
