Bridge Rectifier with no markings ?

Hi, is there a way to find out which terminal is which on a Bridge Rectifier with no markings. Normally there would be a plus & minus on one side & 2 wave terminals on the other, but the ones i just got have nothing, just all black.

Are the 4 pins in a row and is the corner cut off on one side. If so the + is the cut off corner pin and the - the opposite end. ∼ are the middle pins.

If the pins are in the four corners, cut off corner + and diagonally opposite -. Other two ∼.

if you can get to the PCB, You'll be able to see which way round the diodes are and work it based on that....

Sometimes the positive output of a bridge rectifier is denoted by having a longer leg.

Ah, sorry for not getting back, i forgot to tick the notify box.
The BR was an ebay item that i complained to the seller about no markings, where the seller said after, sorry! it was a stock photo that had been used with markings. so i have ordered some others & getting my money back off this muppet. “So annoying when ebayers do this”
So it was more a curiosity if it was an easy way on how i could find out which terminals are which.

Is there a 'dimple' next to one of the legs on either side of the package~

Its not unusual at all for many components NOT to have marking or just discreet dimples, or 'codes; which have no seeming relationship to the part number , they are sent from manufacturers in bandolier rolls and they are 'keyed' to the SMD mounting machine itself. They are self aligning and the manufacturer / user doesnt have to worry which way round they are. They are not for the amateur unless you know what you are doing , get a test meter out and measure each pin to each pin on the diode function- 5 minutes you will have sussed it.

Is one edge of the package slightly curved as in 'chamferred'. What is the Ebay link for the seller, what part number are the sold as, ?

Unfortunately they came loose in a single sealed packet not in a bandolier roll. But they still have the same image on the add.

blimey! 600v, what are you powering, i use DFO1S rated at 100v 1 amp to be more than adequate for model railway use, and those ones you linked to are expensive, if you are prepared to wait for a week or more, find a chinese supplier and get a 100 or more for the same price,

Thanks anyway , but i already ordered some more of anther ebayer that has said they come marked with symbols. "Wouldn't mind, but he is also cheaper" I went for the 600 volt purly for size as my hands are not quite as steady as they used to be & soldering these ones are fun, but the 100v more of a joke. Lol. “I should do a youtube video of me soldering tiny things” There would be lots of expletives.
