Old Threads

The short answer is no Tinker. All previous posts and images have proved incompatible so we are all starting from scratch. R-

Ok Roger, starting another thread is easy, compiling the pictures may take a bit longer.....

I’m sure I have all my old photos on the PC so at some point I may reconstruct some old threads but without the waffle.

That was a good reason for losing the old threads. Think of all the waffle that went. Tis a shame about the piccys, but lets have lots of new ones. If only i knew how.

I have all my photos backed up on an external hard drive, so no problem doing new threads on lost topics, another advantage with this new forum, is the ability to save drafts, so compiling longer threads or how to's etc, can be created then posted when finished, so helps to keep the thread sequential without the rogue replies in between postings,

Roger, will some of Brian Lamberts old "stickies" be reproduced. I am thinking of his soldering post since the topic comes up frequently and it was useful to point people at the thread.

Good idea. But I think he’s having a day off today, maybe tomorrow.

You can of course look at his tutorials on his web site, for now at least.
