prarie tank and flying scotsman spares
hi can anyone help me locate a cylinder block for a hornby 6100 class prarie tank and some conrod screws for a flying scotsman eight wheeled tender drive loco with the hexagonal headed screws i have tried peters spares and they have one which is out of stock and they donot know when they will be back in and the other there supplyier has stopped making them..any help in obtaining them would be most welcome thanks in advance bob clifford

Have you tried Hornby for the parts? It is worth a try. I was checking incase I have 61xx cylinders but sorry. I do not have any. It was worth checking just incase.
Do other screws fit? Have you tried Elaines Trains? She sometimes has a few spares on her website so it is worth a check.

Those on ebay are I believe for the new 2-6-2T Hornby have done not the former AIrfix one.

Do you reckon Mike. You could well be right. Wouldn’t have thought they’d be available yet.
Just been reading about them. They are almost none existent.
Think the best thing to do is buy, if available, a wrecked version of the loco from a show, remember them, or eBay when one shows up.
