hi i have a dean goods tender which i want to dcc but the standard decoders are to big and also i want to dcc my two terriers can anyone recommend a decently priced decoder to fit these locos which are not dcc ready and will be hard wired to fit regards bob

I have fitted Digitrax controllers to small engines with no problem. I believe some Zen models are also very small.

You could try TCS M1 decoders which were designed for N gauge or the Z series which were designed for Z gauge.

What make of Dean Goods is it - googling the make/ model plus DCC conversion usually throws up an article or two.

hornby dean goods just require a small enough decoder to fit into the tender drive no room in the loco thanks bob
