Hello from West Wales.

Post by Journeyman »

Just getting interested in model trains so joined the forum to day.
So far I have bought a book and a 0-4-0 engine from the bay.
Also started drawing out some layouts to get an idea of what can be fitted into the various spaces around the house.
I’m sure I’ll be flooding the place with newbe questions shortly!

Hi, thanks for the welcome,
Not sure exactly what it is, it hasn’t arrived yet, but it’s a 0-4-0 GWR tank engine in green livery, No 105 on the cab and I think it’s Hornby. You can probably tell me more about it

Dave.

Well for me that is the starting point for a nice little shunting layout.

Welcome to the friendly and helpful forum. 0-4-0 - shouts out shunting layout to me. Something industrial and nice and grimy.
