Hi, i have a couple of Helix, 48 inch diameter, double track. Easy to build, but track costs mega bucks. However, you can treble that for the cost of, a mechanical lift. Really expensive. On the size you have, a double tier helix from fiddle yard would be worth considering. You would only need one track.

If you are thinking of this one https://www.nelevation.com/ there used to be a considerable backlog, many months.

There is a YT video on how to build your own. I haven’t viewed it but I just know it will be above my pay scale.

Neil, you can build a lot of Helix for £1400, and, this year.

Well, even you've got the money to splash out on one (and it meets your needs) they're not taking orders for the foreseeable future.

Alternatives seem rare too.

If you are talking about a two level layout with that room size you have plenty of scope to use the full layout length to drop down to a below baseboard fiddle yard.
