I decided it's cheaper to buy empty boxes  It was a good deal on ebay - immaculate as-new condition.

Mmm, big deviation for me, with the DCC layout taking up all the attic it's back to the garage for a traditional Hornby Dublo 3 rail layout :D

A N2 loco has arrived and some track, waiting on more track and stock to come but first need to sort the garage, ply and timber will be cheap thankfully from my work.

Sounds like a great project. Look forward to following your progress. I nearly went Dublo instead of O.

Love the wagon and tractor. Wish I’d gone O gauge. Didn’t think I had enough room but now I realise that I do. There’s something more tactile about the larger scales.

Brian, it was a strange yet exciting feeling just joining the 3 rail track together, something that I last did as a kid about 50 years ago in the attic at my childhood home which my mother still lives in.

Time I got organised! Hobbyzone kit from Hattons. The tool at the front was widely used in the construction!
