Most of the stuff on sale is smokeless. Doesn’t look right.

You only need one lump, it goes an awful long way by the time you crushed it. It only needs to cover the surface.

Yes. Real coal is best. :) I brought a small amount with me when we moved from a coal burning house to our new house. Not a lot left now. :(

Big update
And possibly mess of it atm

I got more foam and decided to add a little river
Here’s the current stage of the layout
Any tips for the river ?

Hey everyone
Just added plaster to the river
Was curious if anyone could points me somewhere I can find a plate girder bridge or someone who can make a 3D file of one as I am struggling to find for the layout
Here’s how where we are at so far

The river is coming along nicely. Peco do a nice plate girder bridge as seen on my layout here.

Was curious if I could somehow get oo gauge ones and do something to make it o gauge
Maybe her two sets and join them or something along those lines

Why not make your own out of plasticard. Worth a try and great to work with.
