Your latest acquisition
Re: Your latest acquisition
I presumed the ref to pictures was part of the seller to buyer dialogue, not to any included in the post.
Re: Your latest acquisition
Hornby Royal Scot 'The Ranger' arrived on Friday and is running well on DC, not had chance to fit decoder yet as been adding better lighting to the loft, used CPC Farnell for the lights and a big improvement to what I had.
Loco from KJB at £105 plus post if anyone is interested which I think is a very good price.

Re: Your latest acquisition
My latest eBay purchase, a Classix Austin K2. This is a lovely model and a LOT less hassle than the Cooper Craft version I attempted recently.

Nice wagon. CooperCraft kits are rubbish!
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician
Re: Your latest acquisition
I have a CooperCraft weighbridge that is very nice, but their vehicle kits are awful. I tried their K2 kit and eventually just gave up on it.

I modified/painted/weathered a Pocketbond Austin K2. Came out quite nicely.
Re: Your latest acquisition
It has arrived! After months of scanning eBay for an NCE Powercab at a decent price, I have finally gone off on a tangent and chosen a z21start and very nice it is too! However, it is going to take a while to fine tune the various settings. At the moment my Lima diesel shunter has two speeds, stop and 'we have lift off'! It is quite a luxury to have a controller that allows you to actually change CVs.
