Hi all! Another newbie joining the forums.
It's been 50+ years since I had model railways, back when Tri-ang was king of the OO gauge, which went on to become Tri-ang Hornby at just about the time that I discovered girls and sold my train set. Oh how I wish that I'd had the vision to hang-on to my stuff. Anyway, I've decided to get back into OO gauge railways, probably motivated in part by the pandemic, this time bringing a passenger, in the form of my wife, who's keen to get involved. I can see plenty of fights over who gets the control of the layout, once we've built it.
Things have changed a lot, yet stayed the same, it seems, except prices, and the fact that so much stuff is now made in China rather than the UK.
I already have a list of questions as long as my arm, which I hope the many experts amongst you all can help me with.
Thanks in advance.
Clem

Welcome to the forum Clem. (Buffer Stop)
Your journey from young persons train set to today maps many of us!
Please ask your questions in the appropriate forums section. Im sure you will get plenty of replies
TBH Old Tri-ang or Hornby Dublo is not a patch on the performance and detailing offered with todays models. Though nostalgia always remains with those of us who ran these items way back!
We look forward to reading more from you.
