It's a long time since I treated myself to a brand new loco so just got this from Hattons today. Lovely amount of detail and lights everywhere. Just running it in on DC on my rolling road while waiting for a 21 pin decoder. Will replace my very old but still working Lima/Hornby example.

That is a charming critter. So, you will not be running a dual service?

Actually I will be running a dual service with the two diesels while I wait for my steam railmotor on pre order with Kernow. I have recently modified my auto shuttle service to work with two locos.

Last week splashed out on a 3 car Class 117 DMU in Blue / Grey livery. Purchased a sound fitted version and considering I have wanted a 3 car DMU for a long time I am pleased even though it was over £300.
Still with some older Bachmann 3 car DMU's commanding high prices and requiring multiple decoders I thought it was worth it.

Purchased from Derails at 3.30pm and arrived the following day by noon, excellent service.

Next, I have a ESU v5 with SWD Class 37 sound snapped up by a mate from a model shop for 30 quid waiting for a Accurascale release. :D

Elegant stream liner. The ubiquitous commuter coaches, very nice pieces.
