WEST ORTON
Re: WEST ORTON
Completed a small trial section of fencing on the branch line. The posts have worked better than expected. The twisted texture of the wires is good but they will need paint/weathering in due course.
These are going to sprout all over the layout.

Yes Barry, we’re all waiting...........bulleidboy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 10:36 pm Great scene - love the grass - I'm going to have a go at this soon
You won’t regret it and knowing you, it will be annoyingly perfect.

Re: WEST ORTON
I completed the stringing on the fence at the back of the layout. The batch of posts that I drilled yesterday were stained and dried overnight allowing me to install another run of wonky posts this morning. I will have to patch in some of the static grass as it’s not really designed to be leant on.
Posts are glued in place and left to dry overnight so hopefully more stringing tomorrow.

Re: WEST ORTON
Made me realise my fence posts are far too neat. Wonkyness will be applied.

Due to the shortage of lorry drivers, you won't find any Wonkyness anywhere - shelves have been strippedWalkingthedog wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 1:31 pm Made me realise my fence posts are far too neat. Wonkyness will be applied.
