Made some solid progress on the second signal box this weekend.
This is an old Skaledale model that doesn’t have a built in floor like the Bachmann box I have on th other side o& the layout. I decided to build the interior as a separate module that will eventually be glued to the layout allowing the box to slide over it.

I’ve Included the wiring for another sound module (on order) which will sit under the floor of the box.
I still have to paint the interior of the roof black as there is some light bleeding through although I may try to line the roof with some self adhesive aluminium tape. I also have some new backscenes on order to replace the rather tasty ones I recycled from the former layout.

Fab work as always Steve - both look amazing..... I will definitely refer back to these when I eventually get around to updating my signal boxes on my layout

Great work Steve - I like the jacket hanging on the wall - it's the little details that catch the eye.

You must be very patient Steve. I agree about the jacket, makes it look real.

I’ve already moved it........before you commented. :D

The alternative was to commission some new figures with O gauge legs. ;)

Top tip: Deluxe Glue n Glaze can be peeled off without leaving a mark.
