Platform height for OO

Can somebody confirm please. Is platform height in OO gauge 13mm (1/2") above the rail top.

I understand it to be about 12mm, a peco SL36 6 foot way gauge also is a platform hieght gauge.

Don't forget that if you mount your track on cork underlay (whatever thickness), you will need to raise your platform by the same amount.

Shouldn't make any difference BB, as the platform top surface measurement is taken from rail top. So regardless of whats under the track the distance is 12mm from rail top. TBH 12mm is very prescriptive and is a guide for the modeller taken from standard dimensions set by BR. :D

Definitely a guide based on my experience of real platforms!
