The Dome is amazing. Fantastic place to visit, great arena. They’ll get it fixed.

yes they will get it fixed but have already said it will take up to 6 months, cost wasn't mentioned but could be into the billions paid for by the tax payer of course.

Oh ok. Some insurance policies have exclusions for storm damage

That’s true TWD. Often excludes boundary fencing.
A neighbour was told by his insurer that they would only pay for his roof damage if the wind was over 60mph - no problem there. I guess they calculate that if something comes adrift in a light breeze then it is more likely to be due to lack of maintenance ie ‘your own bl@@dy fault’.
I would be very surprised if the O2 is not covered by insurance of some form or another, whoever owns it.

TWD they'll sort the O2 roof out with some bin liners and a roll of duct tape.
