Re: Decoder for Janus loco
The sound fitted versions have zimo MX 648 fitted which measure 20 x 11 x 4mm , zimo do several other non sound small micro decoders just check the dimensions. http://www.zimo.at/web2010/documents/MX ... oder_E.pdf

When there was little space for a decoder with wired plug, I always found these to be a good fit

Not used any in a while but prices have gone up quite a bit since the last one I bought although they my be cheaper from another supplier, can't find the one I used to buy from, but it was close to 10 years ago, LaisDCC also do a direct fit one but theirs is quite a bit wider, I think Lenz also do a version.

Thank you all for the replies. I managed to use a small Digitrax out of a different loco. David
