Great picture Barry - not my era or area of knowledge, but can’t help to be impressed by the power of such large steam locos.

Lovely picture. One of my favorite Locos BB, next to the Battle of britains and Counties.

Many thanks for all of the positive comments. I fear Wykeham is becoming more of a "diorama" than a layout. I still need to experiment with the static grass - I'm worried about making a mess of it.

Barry, time to bite the bullet!
Test it on an odd piece of plywood or similar and follow the step by step instructions - it will be fine.

I never knew Nature 'was perfect'.

As Steve says 'Bite the bullet.'
Have fun with the 'static grass'. I bet you will surprise yourself with the result.
