Just watched a BBC prog , showing Massive increase in pos tests. Hope we are not going there again. Better now, here in france, French open tennis sold out, and That Serb, has all clear to come. Funny old world.
I will try a test on Saturday (far too soon) in the hope that I might still make the show at Ally Pally, but realistically the earliest I can hope to get the all clear will be Wednesday next week.

Or I could follow the example of a Premier League goalkeeper (a friend of my son). Tested +ve at the start of the week but repeated the test every hour or so each day. Managed to get a couple of inconclusive results, declared himself fit and went to the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

You can’t fix stupid.

So far this feels like a very heavy cold but all my joints are painful, particularly the ones where I already have arthritis.

The only update today is that the Virgin TV box in the quarantine ward has died.
The memsahib has ordered a roll of barbed wire on Amazon to keep me in place.

Blimey Brian, my faithful carrier pigeon was faster than you. :D
Mind you it was also faster than some of the cars.

My real gripe is that I can't get to Ally Pally tomorrow - even though we are told we no longer have to isolate, I am doing the right thing and staying well away.
Strange that my isolation note from the NHS also says I won't be released until next Saturday.

Sorry to read your Covid Positive Steve. What a bummer!
Take consolation in that you're currently 1 in 20! :o
Keep safe and get well soon.

The daily diary helps reassure Sandy I'm still around and that one day I will finish his Castle.

Bad night with the sore throat made worse by uncontrollable shaking and shivering at 5:30 - not good when you're standing in the bathroom. If you get my meaning. ;)

I won't be posting a picture.

I continue to be confined to my room. Due to the knackered TV, I had to watch the GP on an old iPad via very flaky wifi.
Turns out I could have watched it downstairs on the big TV after all - Chris has also tested +be this evening.
Impeccably timed.

Sorry to hear you will miss Ally Pally. It's honourable of you to stay away. If more people took your stance we may well have been rid of Covid last year.

Almost everybody I know have decided against mixing with people at large venues, theatres, sports etc., so Steve is not alone. I would have liked to have gone to Ally Pally but it would have been a stupid thing to do. I think they should have cancelled it.

Hope you improve soon Steve.
