Beautiful weather here in the UK. Posts always get hijacked, I have always thought it isn’t a bad thing necessarily, just like a group of friends chatting. As long as the original part of the post has been answered.

Hmm, not the old Talgo nor the lovely Tren Hotel but a through train still - an Alvia that can change gauge from European standard, for HST sections, to Iberian standard gauge. Thirteen hours and 11 minutes shouldn't be too bad and cheap rate @ €38.85 that's got be a dine deal, especially if I get 25-40% discount with my retired persons discount card

I can even pick it up at Lleida, my local city, and save the trip down to Barcelona only to come back up again or better still pick in up at Tarragona where I also live
