It’s now five days since I returned a negative test result.......still feel like death warmed over.
It’s now one of the worst head colds I’ve experienced, and then there’s the cough.

Sorry to hear that Steve was hoping you were on the home run the other day.
I expect you know about them but I was wondering if Beechams Max strength all in one capsules would help it will not cure it of course, but it may releave the symptoms and make it more barable for you. You may get some in your next Red Cross parcel.

Steve, what you need is a hot toddy, whisky, sugar, and hot water. Works a treat. When i was the shipping manager with Sealink, at Weymouth I had to address an important meeting in jersey, the following morning, several years ago, whilst sleeping on board overnight. Purser, made me one up, at bedtime. Following morning, clear headed and raring to go.

There now, a comparison, Roger has honey, instead of sugar. Have had both since. May be they prefer sugar, in channel islands. Lemsip, was perhaps not so common then. Its about 43 years ago. Heather says she has used both. Something about sweating the germs out. Worth a try, methinks.

Hope you feel better soon Steve.
I've not had Covid (yet!), but I've recently had a really runny nose and the cough from hell which after five weeks is still hanging on in there. Hopefully yours will pass sooner....

I hate cloves. Could I substitute a drop more whiskey?
