I know the one you mean darkscot, C&M models. Same advert in Hornby Magazine. Often find useful bits and pieces in the small (ish) ads.

That is the one! ;)
I like the small ads at the back of the mag. That is how I discovered Scalescenes and Ancorton models.

See what you mean WTD. I should take more notice of the small adds in the back of RM. I have used C&M couple of times and it is very friendly little place and have always had what I wanted. but it is so small if 4 people are there is crowded. I had trouble getting up the stairs.

Perhaps the young lady in the ad could have offered assistance?

It is C&M Models, 1 Crosby Street, Carlisle, CA1 1DQ - 01228 514689

Is does look very small (check Google maps) - just a doorway with a sign.

You enter the door and there is a flight of stairs turn left at the top and you are at the till and serounded buy show cases full of goodies. but yes it is small but friendly little place. The big problem for me is parking nearby. There are car parks but I dont know where they are as I dont go to Carlisle very much. I cant walk far because my hips get very painful. I have never seen a young Lady there.
