WEST ORTON
Re: WEST ORTON
In my weakened state I succumbed to the temptation of last weekends 20% discount at Hornby.

Yes it was purchased before I knew about the bathroom sink!

Nice looking loco Steve - I'm pleased to say, for once, I resisted the temptation with the 20% discount offer. I still have two Hornby 12.5% discount vouchers which have to be used by the 17th April.

Re: WEST ORTON
I’ve always had a soft spot for the Thompson Pacifics although many thought them ugly because of the position of the cylinders.

Re: WEST ORTON
I must admit I was a little ambivalent about the Thompson A2 but I saw the Hornby model at my local shop and marked it down as a ‘possible’.
Having baited the hook, all Hornby had to do was to reel me in.

Re: WEST ORTON
I have to say the locomotives do look very desirable in that beautifully constructed diorama.
Sorry I'm late but I couldn't get my flip-flops to work
Re: WEST ORTON
The 'diorama' is 30' round the shed.
Glad you like the picture Howard.
