War World Scenics do a range of very fine coloured flock. I gave this patch of static grass a quick blast of hairspray then added a light sprinkle of flock using a tea strainer.
It will get a light hoovering when the spray has dried.

Looks very good - I like the flowers. I'll be happy just to get my grass growing

In another spurt of activity I planted a couple more of my garden prunings.

More planting this morning. Added some flowers to the tall grass clumps to represent purple loosestrife.

I’m also experimenting with a different coupling system. Bought a pack of Hunt couplings last week and have fitted them to a rake of coaches. They seem to hold together much better than ‘normal’ couplings on my undulating track. Yet to decide if I will fit them to the locos or whether I will fit Kadees at the ends of each rake.
