Whilst waiting for Peco to release the new track options [short L/H & R/H points and diamond crossing] I thought I’d have a go at building one of the laser cut kits. This is the outcome. A word of advice to anyone having a go at these, the walls are double skinned, I suppose to give the building some strength, and it provides texture on one side. This does mean that when you put the 2 pieces of each wall together, having made sure you’ve got them the right way round, you have to line up the little projections at each end absolutely precisely otherwise it won’t fit the adjoining pieces. I know this because having left the model for a short while to let the glue dry one of the walls hadn’t slotted fully home and I didn’t notice the 0.5mm difference until I came to put the roof on which is why my version of this model has its own bespoke ridge tile. As in the past with my OO layout in SR I will be basing the new TT one loosely on the same region so I’ve painted this kit in the appropriate colours as opposed to the GWR Peco suggestion.
I might do another one next week!

Nice Rog. I use those magnet corner clamps when building OO Metcalfe kits to hold things together. They can be quite useful, but TT size might prevent their use.

They’re laser cut aren't they. I like the way laser cut slots together.
Nurse, the screens!

They are Brian, and although thin surprisingly strong. Some of the detailing is amazing. R-
