Q Mark Plywood Sheet

Looking at local Wickes and they have the above product listed here . I’ve not come across this label before. Just want to make sure it will be suitable for a baseboard? R-

The looks very expensive - or am I just out of touch?

I am told that is the way of all timber prices. R-

The same size from Wickes is £30 but if the ply in the link is better quality then it’s worth it.
Roger, I would want to see it in the flesh to assess its merits if I were you.
I think your baseboard needs are relatively small Roger and if you can get all you need from one sheet to make your own then it would presumably be cheaper than buying a ready made kit?

Not sure if “structured” is any better than “non structured” - whatever that means. When you add Wickes delivery charge they come in £4 cheaper than Bradfords, who are just down the road so having a squint is easier. R-

Rog, Q mark, is chinese , multi use board, which is ok for indoor and occasional outdoor use, as it withstands water spillage, like spilling your tea on it.
Would be ok for your requirements.

Timber prices have increased by a huge amount, often more than double.

After several phone calls, I have found the only supplier with a board cutting service in Dorset, but according to the reviews of their ply sheets it’s poor quality. Will have a look at stock in Bradfords at the weekend. Thanks all. R-
