Please do not post images to the forum... Use a free hosting service instead. There is a link below the text box.
Images previously posted are not lost, just they are not showing at this time. There is an issue with the hosting companies server. This is being looked into by the hosting companies IT people currently and a way forward hopefully found ASAP. But images uploaded to the free to use 'Add images to Post' site work well.

Re: Steam Trains to Sovereign Street.
Love your cobbles. Are they card? Would be grateful if you could tell me. Thank you.
Re: Steam Trains to Sovereign Street.
Thank you bb and BM for your comments.
The 'cobbles' are on a peel-back paper and stuck to the piece of plywood. The weathering is old make-up powders my wife did not want.
I bought the peel-back papers from a store in Cyprus when on our travels. They came in grey and red-brown colours.
I am sure someone in the U.K will sell something similar.

By running trains beyond the train room It gives a reason and credibility to what is going on.
A Leeds LNWR Goods Yard to Dewsbury L & Y Goods Yard train passing through Leeds Sovereign Street Station. The wagon loads lift out to give the impression of full or empty wagons.
A Kirkstall & East Seacroft train arriving at Leeds Sovereign Street Station. The coach is a Piko HO item

Dynamic imagery that draws the viewer into the frame. Wonderful blend of horse drawn and automobile, which instantly tells the story of the transition from the horse drawn age, and sail, into the age of steel and fossil fuels. Well done, if I may say.
Trams are such a charming method of getting about. Must add that to my list when I finally make it out to the UK, next year, I dearly hope. So much I want to see and experience. From fish and chips to rain to verdant pasture and forest. Want to poke my head into every museum I can get to. I want to see the Rocket in person and ask a dozen stupid questions of the staff.
