It's a shame - but understandable. It is £62m on the Euro Lottery tonight - perhaps they should buy a ticket.

No stick required just yet John, since SWMBO bought me a Fitbit for my birthday in July I have been regularly walking unaided 4 miles every day (weather permitting!). I'm pleased to say the operation on my spine last year was a complete success. With regard to my earlier remark: I do enjoy a glass (or two) of wine with my dinner, I am tone deaf (or so I'm told  ) so singing is not an option, and as for the other, lets just say the spirit is willing etc

Good to hear that Terry. I feel quite miserable if I don’t have a long walk every day. Not half as miserable as the dog though.

Yes good to hear that the Op went well Wish I could walk like that, but not possible any more not because of legs its the lungs. Get short of breath, you know. But never mind. The days of doing the 999 3 peaks are well and truly over. Last time I did that was 2002. Memories. :D john
