While still in the planning stage for the roof trusses I thought I would add a few more details to the shed. And i’ve Just realised that having hung the jackets on the wall, they are too low. And all that after I put them too high when I did the signalbox.

I don't think that looks wrong Steve. I think they would have made use of whatever hook like device they could. Possibly :D R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.

I think that looks very good - all you need is background noise - I'll go and hide

For once I have beaten you to it - I installed ‘workshop sounds’ in the summer.

No Brian, it’s from ModelU, as are the slide jacks and hanging coats. The figures are from Hardy’s Hobbies.

Thanks Steve, I have quite a few ModelU bits and pieces never noticed the cupboard. Your turn to make me spend some money.

I feel as though I have lost my modelling mojo this week as it’s been a struggle to spend any real time in the shed - maybe it’s the cold and damp weather.
However, I have made some inroads into the roof trusses for the shed roof. I’ve made a very basic jig to keep the outside dimensions uniform and have mocked up one truss (not glued together yet) even though I ordered the wrong size I-beam and am waiting for fresh supplies to be delivered.
Once I know it all works it will serve to provide measurements for the various parts which will be cut in batches to give some uniformity.
The design is based loosely on an original NER design where the central square section is there to support the roof vents.
