Ok, this is only a small thing but its amazing how details can transform a layout.
Adding lighting is not something we've thought about but seeing the different dimension it adds its something we will peruse!

Next i want to add signal lights but my son wants a working semaphore with lights. The only ones I've seen are the Dapol ones at around £40 each, although they look amazing they are out of our budget. Is there anyone else that makes them?

There are some good "Black Friday" deals to be had at the moment. I've just bought four Hornby coaches with fitted lights RRP £43.49 reduced down to £26.10 (40% reduction) + free P&P.

Hi Ian - sorry should have said The Model Centre. They have been running a series of daily deals - I subscribe to their email service - so get almost daily emails. I have just received an email from Rails of Sheffield - they have some good deals on Bachmann Scenecraft buildings. Barry

Thank you - at this point in time I can't access their website as it keeps timing out on my computer and phone. Ah well, saved me £30! :(

I've managed to get in via their Facebook page and can now see todays deals.

Thanks for the heads up for TMC sale. I had look and found 4 coaches I have been looking for but everybody seemed to be out of stock. They had them and at nearly half price. Wow. Got 4 coaches for nearly the price of 2.
